Stepping Stones students attend ‘Cinderella’ Pantomime at the Carriageworks

This year recruitment for the ‘Stepping Stones’ Project has been a great success with 18 year 8-12 students attending South CLC on a weekly basis.  The project invites ‘Looked After’ young people from the South of Leeds to take part in mentoring, team building and creative activities.  The students are supported by Associate Mentors from Leeds Metropolitan University.  The sessions help the young people to gain confidence as well giving them the chance to boost their grades and career prospects.

On the 9th December the Stepping Stones group along with all the mentors and members of staff from the CLC took a trip to watch the pantomime Cinderella at ‘The Carriageworks’.  Everyone had great fun and it was a lovely treat for Christmas.
